The convenient size and reliable performance of the industry's most advanced mini van are now available in a crash-test certified wheelchair-accessible version.  The new Starcraft Venture mobility van combines advanced floor-lowering technology with all the advantages of a state-of-the-art mini van, and the result is both practical and beautiful!  Here are its key advantages:

A.  Convenient size - while smaller than our full size Ford vans, the Venture mini van still accommodates someone in a wheelchair far better than any passenger car.  Yet, the overall length and height of the Venture is comparable to today's mid-size cars, and it is economical to operate.  Maneuvering and parking are easy; entry is a breeze.

 

B.  Lowered floor technology - Experts at precision welding and chassis modifications, Starcraft craftspeople recreate a floor that improves interior clearance by 13 inches.  The floor is flat and virtually free of obstructions, from the rear sofa to the front seat positions.  Hand controls and other adaptations that accommodate individual needs are installed by your local Starcraft Mobility dealer.

 

C.  Ease of entry - The curb side door opening is modified too, to provide an ADA-compliant 56" high doorway, wide enough to accommodate our 30" wide fold-away ramp.  The ramp itself is a masterpiece of simplicity and strength, easily folding up and swinging out of the way when not in use.  The driver's door sill has also been lowered.  Options of a power ramp and suspension "kneeling" system allow the easiest possible entry, with an entry height of just 6 inches.

D.  Flexibility - No ordinary car or van can come close to the Starcraft Venture when it comes to seating flexibility. The Venture comes complete with wheelchair securement tracks in the driver's and left middle seating positions, so someone in a wheelchair can drive or ride.  The rear bench seat has a split folding back, and both front seats are on quick-release bases.  The flat mount spare tire provides plenty of storage space in the rear cargo area. Factory seats fold and tumble forward for even more room.
